Mourad is the Chief Scientific Officer at Repair Biotechnologies. He has over 20 years of experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams in translational medical research, focusing on cardiovascular disease. Formerly, he was a Faculty member and Principal Investigator at Harvard Medical School as well as the project architect and team leader of a drug development program at Pfizer.

Mourad has published his research in top-tiered and peer-reviewed medical journals including Nature Medicine, Circulation Research and the Journal of Clinical Investigation. He is a co-inventor on multiple international patents and has consulted for numerous biotech and multinational pharmaceutical companies. Mourad holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and has completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto.
